Cassava is very easy to prepare
Cassava is the potato of South America and can be processed in a variety of ways: fried, roasted, as a puree, casserole, or in soups. Just like the potato in Germany, cassava is a beloved and versatile side dish to traditional dishes in South America. It also serves as a perfect main dish with delicious sauces and dips.
Through the gentle production at low, constant temperatures, the cassava from Yuca Loca achieves its special quality and flavor. Since it has been pre-cooked in its own juice, the cassava is particularly long-lasting and contains many nutrients. Thus, it has clear advantages over frozen cassava.
Preparation recommendation:
Cassava tastes especially good when fried. Fry at 175 °C for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Do not fry too much cassava at once to avoid heat loss.
The cassava also cooks well in an air fryer. Here, the cooking time is correspondingly longer (about 15 minutes at 180 °C).
Open the packaging and cut the film with scissors. Remove the contents and place the cassava in a sieve. Rinse the product briefly with tap water and let it drain well. Do not wash if you intend to fry the product.
