Eucalyptus is a healing plant par excellence. Especially when you have a cold and also a cough, eucalyptus tea is a healthy home remedy that can alleviate many ailments.Â

The tea helps to loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up, and is of course a blessing when suffering from sore throat or swallowing difficulties. In tea brewed from eucalyptus, not only the essential oils come into play, but also its other substances, such as tannins and bitter compounds.
To prepare this infusion, simply follow these steps:
- In 250 ml of boiling water, add three tablespoons of eucalyptus leaves
- Let the tea steep for about 15 minutes.
- Pour through a sieve/filter to separate the water from the leaves and drink the tea. Add lemon and honey to taste.
